Map My Mole allows us to access UK consultant dermatologists for an opinion within 24 -48 hours. Images are reviewed by experts in the field, and reports ensure detailed explanations are provided. If a mole is concerning, the dermatologist will inform the patient providing them with a report that can be sent to their GP to speed up any referral.

How it works: 1. Attend the clinic for a consultation and assessment of the mole/lesion using a dermoscope. 2. We then submit your pictures to be reviewed by Map My Mole's leading consultant dermatologists. 3. CRYOPEN
Cryopen M- CryoPen™ is a state-of-the-art treatment that uses extreme cold, or cryotherapy, to painlessly and safely destroy unwanted, benign and superficial lesions on the surface of the skin. Cryotherapy (also known as Cryosurgery) is a safe and highly effective method of freezing and removing benign skin lesions.

How does it work? The CryoPenâ„¢ freezes at a rate of approximately 1mm per 5 seconds. The nitrous oxide destroys the tissue by freezing the inter-cellular fluid in a matter of seconds, forming ice shards and crystals which rupture the membrane, thereby destroying the cell. That means there will be no collateral damage to healthy tissue.
When will I see results? Over time, the cells targeted in cryotherapy sessions will shrivel and die. It typically takes a few weeks for you to enjoy the final result, but this can vary depending on the size and type of the lesion that you want removed. For example, skin tags turn black at the base and normally drop off after four weeks.
